Multifamily Competition Campaign

Multichannel Campaign for redIQ

Map of the United States shaded by multifamily competition, with Texas highlighted in green and the redIQ logo

The Goal

To engage with skeptical prospects when real estate interest rates were high, and multifamily transaction rates were low. The campaign turned redIQ’s own platform data into market insights that generated leads and positioned redIQ as a source of market intelligence.

The Details

  1. I spotted a story in our usage data. Users had evaluated over 60,000 deals in six months, and the single most competitive deal was evaluated more than 100 times.
  2. I framed the data to answer a question investors care about, which was: where was competition for deals the strongest?
  3. I designed a data visualization and gated asset showing the top 20 most-evaluated deals and the most competitive markets.
  4. I wrote a short blog that previewed the insight and drove readers to the gated report.
  5. I tied the data back to the product. Competitive markets reward fast, accurate evaluations, which is what redIQ does.

The Results

  • This campaign drove one of the two highest engagement spikes of the year across web, email, and social
  • Users shared the findings in their own LinkedIn posts, extending our reach to audiences we didn’t pay for
